Fun Day February

We got together on the 23rd, to needlefelt some Easter-type items for our upcoming display at the

Cobourg Public Library.



Wendy, Shirley and Astrid are working on eggs,  

Kim's needleing an Easter lamb wall hanging

and Mara's felting a bunny - complete with knapsack containing mini eggs.

The display will be in the Cobourg library for the month of March.

This will be an opportunity for us to advertise "The Gathering" as well.

The annual "Gathering" of spinners, weavers, knitters, crocheters

and all manner of fibre folk

will take place on April 13th, 2013  - 10AM to 3 PM

at the Port Hope Recreation Centre

Vendors,        door prizes,      refreshments

January Fun

Although the weather wasn't cooperative for either our scheduled December Pot-Luck

or for our monthly January meeting,

we were able to get together at Mara's for a fun day on the 19th of January.

Pat Leclair, of Dyeing For Colour Fibre Works, arrived with a car full of fibres and yarns, just in time for the great pot luck lunch.

After lunch, she explained her dyeing process and how she became interested in it, and then we "went to town" admiring  and shopping.
